
A delicious and healthy snack with no added sugar and only three ingredients. These are great to pack as snacks or part of lunch for school, work or travelling. You can use whichever apples you prefer but I find fuji and pink lady apples seem to crisp up better than some others. The real secret is just having the oven at a very low temperature so that the apples can dry out without burning or becoming overly caramelised. If you do have a sweet tooth sprinkle over a little brown sugar before baking.
Crispy Baked Apple Chips

Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 110°C.
- Core the apples and slice thinly. Place into a bowl with the spices and mix to coat.
- Place onto a lined baking tray and bake in prepared oven for 1 hour. Flip and bake for a further hour. Allow to cool before eating.
